Strength Training in Bombay & Franklin
Strength is the foundation for everything else: moving well, staying independent and feeling good in your body for decades.
Why strength training
- Reduce injury risk for work, sport and everyday life
- Improve mobility and keep your independence
- Build muscle, bone density and strength
- More energy, better mood, a stronger you
Who it’s for
Strength training isn’t just for athletes or young people. It matters even more as we get older, when muscle and bone density naturally decline. Whether you want to lift your kids without your back complaining, keep up with sport, or stay active well into later life, getting stronger helps.
What to expect
Every programme starts with how you move now. We teach the main movement patterns properly, with good technique before heavy loads, and progress you at a pace that suits your body.
Training is coached one-on-one in 30-minute sessions, so you get results without spending hours in a gym. Aging is inevitable, but being old and broken is not.

“Absolutely amazing. Steve really knows his stuff.”
“At 48 and with a few injuries over the years I have struggled with most physically activities for the last couple of years, even just daily life stuff.”
“Have been seeing Steve twice a week for last 8 weeks or so and he has quite literally changed my life and my outlook on the future.”
Blair Shearer
“I have been going to Steve for strength, nutrition, weight loss and grappling and am blown away! He tailors everything to be super personalised and individualistic. He has changed the way I view nutrition, exercise and strength training and helped me realise everything is possible and more accessible than I thought! My life has changed for the better and I feel stronger than ever and more comfortable and confident in my body and health!”

Questions
Is strength training safe if I’ve had injuries?
We work with many people returning after injury or time away. Your programme is built around your history and progressed carefully.
Will I get bulky?
Strength training builds muscle and strength gradually. Your programme is designed around your own goals.
How often should I train?
One or two coached sessions a week is a great start. We can add an optional home programme around the equipment you have.
Am I too old to start?
No. Strength training becomes more important as we age, and we coach people of all ages.
